Casa Esperanza News
Hi there,
Just wanted to send a small update from the last
couple of weeks. During Semana Santa some of the children from Casa
Esperanza put on a little concert. There was a team down here from BC
and they taught the kids a few songs in English as well as Spanish. The
kids also learned a dance to the song, Testify to Love, by Avalon. One
of our team leaders, Felix, taught it to them. They a great time
learning everthing and they did a wonderful job performing at Marantha,
its the church that the children attend every week. They even got the
congregation to participate in the singing with the song, Aleluya,
Praise ye the Lord. It was a fun time for all! I have attached a few
pictures of them in action.
On another note, we received 2 new
kids at Casa Esperanza. They are a brother and sister, who share the
same birhtday. Yohana is 4 years old and Jose is 3. They came from
Guatemala city, they are very sweet children. Yohana is blind in one
eye and we are told that she is losing sight in her other one. Please
pray that the Lord will heal her eyesight. Casa Esperanza has a total
of 25 children now.
Thanks so much for your love, prayer and support! They are a continuous blessing for me.
God bless,
Nadine
