Casa Esperanza - Oct. 2008
Dear friends.
Hola todos.
I hope and trust all is well with you and all your endeavours. The last three weeks here in Guatemala have gone by fast. We have been busy with teams and with the daily activities with our 36 kids. Casa Esperanza has been growing and we have had some more kids and new workers in Casa Esperanza. Things are growing and so is the work. As you can see in some of the pictures I included I have been keeping busy with the kids. Last Sunday we went to Church and then in the afternoon we went for a walk in the hills, we were gone for about four hours. They all got back tired, I like it when they are tired, they sleep better! During the week I work translating where needed and I work with the kids. We have lots of small projects like setting up computers and fixing bikes. There is always something to do in Casa Esperanza. This last week we celebrated kid’s day here in Guatemala. We held a large program for all the neighbours and we had lots of kids show up. I also have included several of the pictures that were taken that day. It is always fun for me to help with kids programs because I like kids and I love teaching them... and having fun! The clown pictures are from that day. I also had some of the kids from Casa Esperanza help me “clown around”, they loved it. So things here are real good. I ask that you please pray for all of our 36 kids and all the workers, God knows why they are here with us and what we need to teach them. I thank you all for your love and prayers.
God Bless.
Anthony
