These past couple of weeks have been wonderful, as the children continue to grow and become healthy young men and woman of God.

Two weeks ago all the older children were involved in leading the Saturday service at the Maranatha Church. Gabi read scripture, Jessica introduced each person, and she shared how much her church family means to her. Alicia and Lubia sang a duet, which was Lubia’s first time singing in front of the church. Alicia also lead the dancers, as Jessica had other duties. Jose prayed for the offering, and ushered with Elvis. It was great to see them grow and be challenged in their leadership skills. We were very proud of each and every one of them.

A couple of weeks ago ‘Fe Viva’ also had the privilege of hosting a Dental team from Kindersley, Saskatchewan. This 10 person dental team were able to accomplish so much while they were here. Not only did all of our children in ‘Casa Esperanza’ receive dental work, but many of our Sponsor Families received much needed fillings, extractions and much more. All of our ‘Casa Esperanza’ children were blessed to recieve free dental treatment, and all our children received the care they needed. Melvin had 3 fillings, and 1 tooth pulled, Marina had 1 filling - her teeth were pretty good. Antolin, Ruby, Brenda, Antonio, Gabi and Lubi all had no cavities. Gabi needs orthodontic work done, as well as Lubia grinds her teeth and she needs a night guard. Denis had 6 fillings, Lester had 3 fillings. Jose David had 3 fillings, and Jackie had 4. Elvis had 2 fillings, and Joel, Eliseo and Jose Manuel were a little frightened, and were unable to receive treatment. Jessica had 4 fillings, and Elsa had 1. Miguel had 2 extractions, and Marina had 1 filling. Sonja had 3 fillings and 1 sealant. Alicia had 2 fillings, and has problems opening her mouth wide. She also complains of headaches. Mynor had 4 sealants and Jose Luis had 3 fillings.  All in all it was a great blessing.
