Update from Anthony - Feb. 5/10

Hola,

It is hard to believe that 3 weeks have gone by! It has been so busy here, and it has been great. I made it down with no problems, it was my best flight ever!

Upon arriving I went into Casa Esperanza and woke some of the kids, I just couldent wait to see them. At 12am the kids are funny. I was so happy to see them and the next day I ate breakfast with them. It was nice to be back.

So the last 3 weeks have been busy with Home stuff, you know the daily things... multiplied by 36. It has been good but when one kid gets better it seems that another one takes his shoes. So it is an on going thing. The kids are great and doing amazing and are now in school so it gives us more time to get other things done. I have included a picture of the kids on their first day.

When I have time off I work in the shop. I have been working on some general protocols for the shop becasuse we have lots of good tools and we want to keep it that way. I have had lots of time to work with Mike Gunn a carpenter from B.C. and we have been making lots of great stuff. It has been a blessing having him here and just to work with him I am enjoying my self!

Sunday night devotion with the kids is an amazing time, we just started the story of Moses and finished the story of Joshua. It is a great time to speak into the kids lives. We do a reading from the bible and have a questions and answers time, then they get to colour and do a word search and the kids have been learning lots. Sunday is a busy day with Church in the morning, soccer or some other game from one till 4 then socccer after supper. Then at 6:30 I do the devotional till 8. Then bed for them and me too! I have included a picture of us at the table with our work sheets.

We also do the great Canadian Sport on saturdays... yes we are teaching the kids to play Hockey. It is so fun, finally a sport I can beat the kids at!

Thank you for your prayers and support, it has been a real blessed month!
