Families in Crisis
We currently sponsor several families in the area surrounding our FeViva compound in Guatemala. We provide food, medical care, clothes, and school supplies to these families who are unable to provide for themselves for various reasons. The need is huge in Guatemala - we could be helping hundreds more families than we are, but due to lack of funds we are currently not able to. Please consider sponsoring a family, or even a child or two within a family -- you can make a huge difference in the life of a child through sponsorship!
Nahera FamilyMaria and her six boys have been on our sponsor program since her husband died. They live in a small shack with a dirt floor on a citrus farm, where Maria packages fruit for a few dollars a week. It is difficult for her to keep her boys in school while she is out working, but we continue to encourage her and the boys to do their best. They continue to need our support for the most basic of needs. Please consider helping Maria and her boys. |

Pablo Vasquez Lopez FamilyPablo cares for his three children and one grandchild from the confines of his wheelchair. After a fall years ago that left him handicapped, he has had to beg on the streets to provide food for his family. Please partner with us to help make a difference in their lives, to provide medical assistance, education, food and clothing for this family. |

Jacqueline & NancyJacqui, her two boys and sister, Nancy, live together in one room of a friend's home. Jacqui is both deaf and mute and Nancy is blind and has MS. Nancy has been bedridden for many years, so Jacqui is the primary caregiver. Without the help from others, these sisters and two little boys would not survive. Please consider helping sponsor this family in need |

Alfonso & Maria Leal FamilyAlfonso & Maria Leal are a hard working couple. They have no children which makes it difficult for older couples in the later stages of life in Central America. They live in a small adobe hut with a dirt floor, but Maria keeps it very clean and homey. Although their health has been a concern over the last few years, they remain very happy and willing to help whenever there is opportunity. Alfonso & Maria truly are blessings and a joy for us to help. |
