International School of Destiny Update

Hola Everyone,

It’s hard to believe that almost two months of classes have gone by here at the International School of Destiny; two months of challenge and growth. We started the year with only 3 students, setting a foundation of understanding with our Bible Foundations course and an introduction to the Pentateuch. A few weeks later we had the privilege of receiving five students from another school, which recently closed here in Guatemala. In the attached picture from left to right you can see Elser (Guatemalan), Josué (Guatemalan), Roger (Argentinean), myself, Justin (Canadian), Sindy (Guatemalan), Luis and Cecilia (Columbians), and Ana on the floor (Guatemalan). As you can see, each one comes for a distinct background, different nations, ages, levels of education and maturity. Continue to pray for God to give me the wisdom of how to best serve them and equip them for the calling God has in their lives.

We had an especially blessed time two weeks ago, when Darcy Dube, Kim Weiler, and Matt and Kerry Blacklock joined the Missionary Training School (MTS) students with us, and imparted a fresh revelation of the reality of the Holy Spirit and His role in our lives. All of the students were challenged to hear from God for themselves, and minister to others out of that revelation.

Since then classes have continued, as we study Character Building and the book of Acts, and it has been refreshing to see the new zeal and life at work in and through the students. Many of them have recently passed through (or are passing through) difficult times, but they continue to cling to the Lord and submit themselves more to His perfect will, even when it hurts and requires them to die to different areas in their lives. Please lift them up in your prayers. I am reminded frequently in times of prayer and devotion that truly one of the greatest wonders for our Christian walk is the ability to minister in prayer to those who our arms cannot reach.

Thank you for your continued prayers, support and words of encouragement.

Rev. Adam Biro
Director – International School of Destiny
